Shell Yeah

The property was beautiful and was in a wonderful location to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We have stayed on the island three times before at different properties and our family's opinion was that this was their favorite. It was large enough so that everyone had their own space if they wanted, but a large place to gather also. The walk to the beach was short and beautiful and quiet. We only had a couple of complaints. The carpet in the hallways and bedrooms were fairly dirty, and the washer broke the first time we tried to use it. Besides the carpet the rest of the house was immaculate. American Realty has a washer and dryer available which helped that situation, but it was an inconvenience. A maintenance person was sent but was unable to fix it. I understand that things happen, but I was hoping to hear something back from the property owners about our issues, but did not. With that being said, our family would definitely rent this property again! It was beautiful! Doc Fords was our favorite place to eat and the desserts from the Bubble Room were fantastic! And American Realty was very knowledgeable and helpful in our booking. Great customer service!

We were so pleased with Shell Yeah house on Captiva! The location was within steps of both Captiva Village on one end of Wightman Lane and a beautiful beach on the other end. It however, is a very quiet street. There were 3 master suites and 2 double bed bunk rooms all with their own bath. The best part was that the pool, hot tub and ping pong areas were all enclosed in a screened in porch that kept the no-seeums at bay. (Bring lots of bug spray for going to beach and walking around). Lots of beach supplies, great shelling, 2 gas BBQ pits and good supply of cookware and dishes. We would definitely rent again. American Realty was very responsive to a few minor needs - 10 minutes and they were there. I highly recommend this wonderful house and thank you to the owners for opening up their beautiful home. It was the best family Christmas ever. (We had 10 in our group.)

First time staying on Wightman Lane in the many years of going to beautiful Captiva. It's been our family's yearly vacation spot together on the beach for over 15 years. Walk to the beach was doable even for this senior citizen. Close to good island eating places and shopping. Watching the sun rise over Pine Island Sound and set over the gulf offers spectacular pictures. Great family week with lots of nature sightings. Joey's ice cream pontoon boat pulling up on the beach is always a treat. Plenty of water thrills available too. Try to stay on the banana boat!

Excellent house in a great location. Island life on Captiva is so chill. If you want to live in a Jimmy Buffet song for a week, this is the place.

Amazing. The home was so well kept and beautiful. We used every space and room in the house. There were so many spaces inside and outside to relax and spend time with family. It doesn't hurt that the beach is steps away! We love going to the sunrise each morning and sunset each evening! I would love to stay there again!

Our family has booked with American Reality for over 25 years. They are always great to work with. If there is ever a problem with any of the properties( very rare) they are quick to respond.

House was great. The Two bedrooms that are separate from the main house and surround the pool and hot tube area is a really great setup. All decks and pool area are screened to keep the bugs away. The property company was outstanding. I asked if it was possible to get a few more beach chairs at one point not really expecting even an answer but there they were a couple hours later 5 brand new beach chairs. Every question answered very fast. Can’t wait to go again.

We had a wonderful vacation with our kids and grandkids-Shell Yeah was the perfect place for us to stay! There was 15 total and everyone had their own space but we were all together. The pool, hot tub and outdoor space was amazing! I think my little boys enjoyed the pool as much as the ocean! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing home with us!!! We will definitely be back ��

This is our 4th or 5th time to rent this home. It’s near restaurants and the beach. It’s layout is ideal, the pool, outdoor kitchen, hot tub and shower are beautiful and practical. The kitchen is well equipped, there are plenty of towels, and plenty of beach towels in the linen closet. The only thing this house needs to be PERFECT is a little wagon, otherwise, it’s as perfect as a house can be! We love this home and plan to continue to return over the years.

Great stay. Didn't like the dishwasher. Never knew if it was operating properly. Did wake up about six AM to snoring. Met an older man in the pool area who said he was the pool person. Interesting. He was driving a pool van, though.

The property was clean and ready to go when we got there and was just as described in listing and in conversation with American Realty. We 9 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 1 to 17. Pool was warm and used a lot even though it was only in the upper 60s while we were there. We have used American Realty of Captiva (the property manager) for years and always get great service. Great location - few minutes walk to Farmers Market, Bubble Room Ice Cream, RC Otters.

AMRC is the best management team ever, thanks to Albert and Fernando.
Every question or tiny glitch we had got near immediate support. Then there’s location location location. Half block to beach and short walking distance to restaurants, bike rental, farmer’s market and other conveniences. House was a joy.

Second year in Shell Yeah. Great place for beach lovers with a short walk down the street to the gulf. Shells are abundant. The house spoiled us with all its space. Three private master bedrooms, screened porch, quaint sitting areas around the walkway looking down over the large pool area, plus the big living room and a dining room table to all be together, or not. Only thing missing is a pool bathroom downstairs to make it a perfect location to vacation in paradise. Captiva Strong. We'll be back.

This property was perfect for our family. It has three master suites and two children’s rooms. The kitchen is well stocked. Close to the beach and a few shops makes it an ideal place to vacation. The pool was clean and kept the five grandchildren entertained when we were not at the beach. Inwould recommend Shell Yeah to large family group!

Shell Yeah offers a perfect location for our large family gathering of 13. Plenty of room to spread out yet a great space for all of us to be together. The pool and hot tub were used every day and the beach being at the end of the road was perfect. Just one block from the Island store, activities and restaurants made walking a breeze. Plenty of parking on the property as well. Will we go back???? Shell Yeah we will!

We had a great mom and daughter spring break trip at Shell Yeah. The house was perfect for 11 of us. Many screened in areas to lounge around by the pool and also just sit and enjoy the scenery. Whenever we needed any items for the house, american realty responded promptly. The beach chairs/umbrellas/wagon were a huge bonus! The 3 master bedrooms were all spread out giving each group privacy when needed.

Extremely fun house to stay in. There's a ton of screened in areas including a pool, hot tub and an outdoor shower! Three great bedrooms and 2 bunkbed rooms. 5 bathrooms. Wonderful porches with views of the road. It was fun to walk past the other beautiful houses on the private road to get the beach. Steps to restaurants, ice cream parlor, and shops. There was an eagles nest in the tree in the front yard. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed at Shell Yeah 3 years ago - whole family with a 3 yr. old included. This stay was again the whole family and a 5 yr. old, two 2 yr. old's and a 4 month old baby. Lisa had everything ready for us that we needed and the children had a great time at the beach with the beach toys! Anything that needed to be attended to at the house was immediately addressed by Lisa and the staff of American Realty - very professional and personable and they took care of any issues. I would HIGHLY recommend Shell Yeah and American Realty Group of Captiva. Thank you!!!

Overall, really enjoyed our stay in Captiva! American Realty was very easy to work with and responsive to our requests both before and during our stay. House shows some wear from recent hurricane, but very clean and great location.

We enjoyed our week long visit to Shell Yeah! The house was clean and well-appointed for all of our needs. I would rent the home again. It had a great outdoor area with a nice pool, hot tub and ping pong table that we really enjoyed. There are also a lot of outdoor sitting areas.
