Lovely home! It is clean and fresh. Lots light. Conveniently located to beach via a short walk down the road. Pool is perfect with plenty of outdoor furniture to relax on.

This was our 3rd stay on Laika Lane, all American Realty properties. Sea Breeze is a great house, lots of stairs, just FYI. 15 to the main level, 16 to the upper level. Found it a good way to work off some of the Boops(Bubble Room) cake, which was conveniently right around the corner! You should know your tv streaming passwords for television watching. That’ll keep you from having to call. But if you do call (I did), the American Realty team is on it! Problem solved in minutes! Nice galley kitchen, everything you need. Pool was warm, great for laps. Wagon, chairs, and umbrellas all in working condition, and oh so helpful.
Watch the entryway stairs, front and back. There were a couple nails working their way up. I pounded down as needed.

My family of seven spent a week on the most beautiful little lane on Captiva. If you want to experience Captiva to its utmost, I highly recommend staying on Laika Lane. The walk along the small road to the beach is gorgeous covered in flora and fauna.

The house was perfect for our two couples. Great location and wonderful pool and sundeck. Very comfortable. American Realty is terrific to deal with. Coming back next year.

2nd year to stay here. Only complaint is that the dryer is not working well (took hours to dry one load of clothes). May want to have the dryer vent to the outside cleaned. Otherwise, a wonderful home!!!

Great location in Captiva...Easy walk to the beach and the restaurants. We enjoyed having a pool, too.
We worked with Alan and Morgana at American Realty Company, and they were excellent at communicating and answering all of our questions. The house did not have an iron or ironing board, and they brought one to the house a short time after we requested one.
We enjoyed our stay in Captiva!

We have been staying here for many years. It is a great place, and the owners are finally upgrading the unit. New kitchen this year and new bathrooms for next year. Management is attendant and very helpful.

We had a "Girls Weekend" at the Sea Breeze. The house was in a great location, we were able to walk everywhere. The house was clean and very well stocked with linens and cookware etc. The beds were comfortable, clean and the pool was a very nice bonus...the house provided beach towels, chairs and umbrellas - we will be coming back next year! Albert with American was very tentative and responded to questions right away. We had an all-around great experience!

My wife & I along with our 3 kids spent a fun and memorable Thanksgiving week in Captiva. The island post-hurricane recovery was in full swing but some restaurants and the general store were open & beach was full of shells & ample fish were caught from Surf. Our cottage was in great shape and perfect for our family of 5. Lots of room and beds were fairly comfy. Kitchen had ample pots, pans, & utensils to cook Thanksgiving dinner while watching football games. Pool was very warm and relaxing. We were a one min walk to Boops for orange crunch cake & morning coffees. One min walk to general store for supplies & wine. Overall we were very pleased & can't wait to come back.

My husband & I plus my daughter, her husband and son ended up in Sea Breeze due to the permit issue of our original reservation. We were happy with the home. It had everything we needed. It was a very short distance to the businesses/restaurant area. The walk to the beach was doable for all of us. (21-82 years of age) Captiva is a tropical paradise. We've been going to the island since 2008 and have always had a wonderful family week together with our kids and grandkids.

We enjoyed our stay in #56. We were well entertained by a pair of yellow crowned night herons that were building a nest nearby. We also saw a largish iguana, a raccoon and a rabbit near the house.
We’ve stayed in Sunset Captiva in various houses for several years and have always been happy with the accommodations and the closeness to beach, the Island Store and restaurants.

Sea Breeze was comfortable for two couples and a single. The first floor bathroom is inadequate. As a family of five adults we were comfortable. The management did a fine job for us.

This rental was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. You will need to supply your own spices, paper products, etc. The location was walking distance to all the great restaurants in the village. The best part was having the beach at the end of the road. We all enjoyed the pool after a day at the beach.

House is a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. It has a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances. Extremely comfortable home down to the stack of novels for reading by the pool. The upper deck is peaceful for morning coffee up in the trees. A true delight in “downtown” Captiva.

Easy walk to the beach and local shops. The bedrooms were roomy, and each was en suite. Living room area was cozy and the nearly floor to ceiling windows gave it a tree house vibe.

A wonderful location for a stay on Captiva. House has a perfect location for beach, sunset, and restaurants. House is very comfortable and the realtor is marvelous to deal with. The heated pool is a huge plus and the upper deck is delightful.

The house had plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable,but just way too many stairs.the housekeepers where still there when we arrived at like 5:45, they left towels and sheets in the washer and dryer,we took care of them. The house was not the cleanest we did spend the next day cleaning to get the house cleaned to our satisfaction.. wiped up trash spills on the wall by trash,finger prints and dirt off walls,smashed bugs or something on the bedroom wall, recleaned all 3 bathrooms one was never cleaned also seemed like the floors were not washed. Found sand all under couches. Had to rewash most of the dishes..rewashed all of the bedding..the pool was nice just wished it was bigger, there was no sun over the pool cause the tree branches were laying on top of the lenyi but was told that was going to get taken care of. Maintenance did come out to fix a door knob and lock and brought ant traps and said they would get the house sprayed. They were very quick to work on that situation and very nice. The day we left we had all 3 beds stripped and washed the sheets so housekeeping had a very easy breeze after we left even swept the house the morning of departure.

Have been going to Captiva for more than 30 years and using American Really exclusively. Have been staying at Sea Breeze for a number of years now. Great location and are going back next year. Love Captiva.

The property was clean and comfortable but spartan in appearance and decoration inside. The kitchen and bathrooms are very dated but generally functional. Kitchen cabinet kickboards are disintegrating. Some windows will not open. Outside steps front and back are in rough shape and should be replaced.

Great location, convenient to everything. House was comfortable and the beds were awesome. Had everything we needed for a great stay. Pool was wonderful in the evenings, it is small but deep and very warm. Would definitely stay here again! Lots of stairs, something to keep in mind for anyone booking or with young children. Had a few cleanliness concerns, but supplies were there to “touch up” a few things.

The house was decent. It was convenient to the village of Captiva and close to South Seas Plantation. There were giant ants in the kitchen with empty bait traps placed around the counter. We called and the maintenance folks delivered one more bait trap. We decided to keep the kitchen lights on at night to hopefully deter more bugs. There are gaps in between doors and door frames that need to be fixed. The downstairs bathroom is tiny and was hard to have two people use all week. There was 1 bath towel provided in that bathroom. My 6 yr old grandchildren enjoyed the pool but it was very small. This was my second year with American Realty. While I love the area I wouldn’t return to this particular house.
