Nirvana Sunrise

Our stay at Nirvana Sunrise was very good, perhaps as close to perfect as a place can be; given our personal circumstances. The home itself is stunning: spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed for relaxation and connection with family. The private dock was a highlight—we spent peaceful mornings and nights fishing and launching kayaks, soaking in the quiet beauty of the water and wildlife.

The house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable, the garage has all the items you need for a relaxing time at the beach and the views from the upper levels were breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The location was ideal. It was secluded enough to feel like a retreat, yet close enough to the beach and local spots to take it all in.

Still, I can’t say the trip was great, only because someone very special was missing. With our late son Ethan, we would have been ten. Now we are nine and this was our first trip without him. His absence is something we carry with us always. But in moments on the water or under the stars, we felt closer to him and for that, we’re grateful.

Nirvana Sunrise offered us a beautiful space to hold both joy and grief, a gift we won’t forget. I highly recommend staying here, as we will be back next year to continue our traditions.

Our 4 generation getaway to Nirvana Sunrise was everything we expected and then some. The guys loved fishing from the dock, the grandchildren loved swimming in the private pool, we all loved the easy access to the beach and all of the beach equipment that was available to us in the garage. The master suite was dreamy and luxurious. We hope to come back soon to this beautiful home. We recommend eating at Green Flash, The Bubble Room and breakfast at Sunset Grill. American Realty was great to work with on the rental of this property.

We stayed with two other families and had a wonderful time. Pool and location are beautiful, as well as the house. Our only surprise was the lack of cleaning supplies. Not enough to keep the house tidy for the week, and no counter spray or disinfectant at all. Bring your own wipes, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and trash bags or you'll be price gauged buying them at the general store.

We loved our week at Nirvana Sunrise! The home is beautifully appointed - literally every kitchen item you could ever want. Cooking was a pleasure. Every room was fresh and clean. Tons of towels, including beach towels - and the pool was fabulous. The location right between Captiva and Sanibel was very convenient for biking. We hope to come back - it was perfect!

This was the best family vacation. It was nice to get away during the pandemic and not have to leave the property to have fun. The house is so well appointed you really don’t need to worry about much besides your groceries and a few paper products and laundry detergent. Seeing dolphins from the dock everyday was a highlight. 5 stars - would recommend!

Perfectly located at the southern tip of Captiva. Excellent beach access right across the street. Almost like having the entire beach to yourself. The whole family loved fishing off the dock. The pool area was great. Captiva is a pretty quiet place. There isn't much to do other than the obvious activities, such as the beach, pool, fishing, and relaxing. The house was equipped with everything that we needed to make our stay amazingly memorable. The only thing that would have made this place better would be a bathroom near the pool area. The Florida weather did not disappoint.

This is our second time booking this home and plan on coming back every summer. The location is great with the best fishing out on the dock and easy access to the ocean across the street! Plenty of space for our entire family! Do not hesitate booking!

This was probably one of the best family vacations ever. House was so clean and spacious. Fishing was awsome right off the dock. We will be back. A couple minor draw backs. Parking with a single wide drive way on a busy road was difficult, also 2 bedrooms had no TV in them grandkidsand son in law were a bit disappointed. We have a 33 year old disabled son 3 story's and no elevator although we can see one was started finishing would be great. Hubby had to carry him up and down the stairs. But overall a great house and time.would recommend this house.

Nirvana Sunrise was a great place for our family getaway. We loved preparing family dinners together in the beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. The home is within walking distance to several restaurants just over the bridge. The dock was an excellent fishing spot especially under the snook light at night. We used the pool and spa every day. Walking to the beach was easy and the home is very well equipped with beach chairs, towels, toys, etc. We were pleasantly surprised at the downstairs game room where our family played multiple ping pong tournaments. The three bathrooms have loads of towels, hair dryers and a small amount of soap and shampoo. The only thing that seemed insufficient was paper products. We needed to purchase additional paper towel and toilet paper during our stay. The four bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious. If there are more than 8 people in your party there is no other sleeping space that has any privacy. The property managers were very helpful.

We had a great week at Captiva at Nirvana Sunrise! The house was amazing and the snook fishing at the dock was so much fun! The beach was a short walk away and plenty of chairs, wagon, umbrella, sand toys, etc were provided. Hope to be back one day!!

This is our fourth year staying at this luxurious home. For our family it is the perfect size, perfect luxury and perfect location. The house is beautiful and has wonderful furnishings. Our group of ten gathered from Denver, Kansas City and Valencia, Spain to enjoy our annual family week together. The Nirvana Sunrise was a perfect venue. The property was lovely, spotless and convenient for fishing, shelling and SUP. Family meals were perfect in the large kitchen.

Beautiful home that is kept very clean. The kitchen as well stocked with anything that you could need. We enjoyed the porches with views and being able to fish off the dock as well. Unfortunately, we had issues with the air conditioning and the pool was extremely dirty and had no chlorine. We did let management know, but did not see a resolution during our stay. Hopefully this was resolved before the next renters.

It's a great house and a great location. You can watch the dolphins off the back deck or walk a block to the beach.
