Morning Glories

We were two families and had room to spare. This house has it all. Six ensuite bedrooms, chefs kitchen, beautifully decorated, fantastic pool area, pool table, ping pong, foosball table, a second frig for poolside entertaining. This place is great for large families, multiple families or a couples weekend. Beach is just a 2 min walk. Can't wait to come back. Thank you Morning Glories for a great stay!

Morning glories is a great house! My extended family had so much fun there and it was so relaxing. Great pool and spa, game room...etc.

The Morning Glories house is fabulous. Captiva is an excellent choice for a family vacation. Our entire family stayed at the house. 11 of us in all. Every bedroom has a full bathroom. The walk to the beach is a pleasant 5 minute walk. The house provided beach chairs,carts and games to play at the beach. The pool and spa were perfect. A beautiful beach and many nice restaurants. We really had a perfect vacation.

Our group of 11 ranged in age from 3 to 73. The home was perfect for us! The walk to the beach is short and easy. The pool provided many hours of fun. We enjoyed walks to dinner and fabulous sunsets on the beach.

Wonderful house. Great for families. Nice private space with common areas to enjoy company. Would love for the outside areas to be sprayed for mosquitoes as they are quite prevalent in front and back b/c of all the foliage. But overall, lovely house.

Morning Glories was an absolutely beautiful and spacious home. We enjoyed an eleven person family reunion. There was room for all of us to be to hand have alone time, as well. The location was very close to the village and the beach, too. We had to call maintenance twice to fix the hot tub. The first day we were there the foliage fell through the cover of the pool area. We called several times, but never heard anything. Otherwise, it was the best trip ever!

The home was beautiful, the kitchen is a cooks dream complete with gas stove and great appliances. The espresso and coffee machines were a big hit with the adults! We had 8 adults and six kiddos ranging in age from 9 months to 7 yrs. There was ample sleeping arrangements for everyone. Although the baby slept separately in one of the bedrooms, the other two children slept in pallets in their parents’s bedroom. The owners had every possible item you might need on vacay. The pool and covering (great for keeping out pesky mosquitos) and pool toys and ample towel supply were a huge hit with the kiddos. The outside areas were lovely and afforded a nice quiet place to read etc. The home was immaculate and the air worked great, with the exception of one downstairs bedroom, but the maintenance person came as soon as we called. Overall, this is a lovely vacation home and we enjoyed our stay relatively problem free. You would not be wrong in choosing this beautiful home for your vacation. It is within walking distance of most everything on the island.

For the past 17 years, our family has cherished our annual visits to Captiva. It has become a special tradition for us—a place where we've made countless memories, supported local businesses, and felt a true sense of belonging in the community. Captiva isn't just a vacation spot for us; it feels like a second home.

However, recent developments have made us reconsider our travel plans. The current U.S. administration's actions, including the imposition of 25% tariffs on Canadian goods and discussions about annexing Canada as the "51st state," have raised significant concerns about our nation's sovereignty and the respect between our countries.

Trump Confirms He’s Serious About Wanting Canada As 51st State. These measures make it challenging for us to feel welcome and valued as Canadian visitors.
We sincerely hope that the political situation improves and that we can once again feel comfortable committing to our annual trip. Captiva remains a place we hold dear, and we would love nothing more than to continue being part of the community that has meant so much to us over the years.

My wife and I - and our adult children and their spouses - and four grandbabies - enjoyed a magical two weeks on Captiva at Morning Glories. The home was well designed and outfitted for our large group, the location of the home was perfect for walking to the beach for surf, sand and sunsets, and for walking and riding our bikes to the stores and restaurants in the core of Captiva. Alan and Albert of American Realty Group of Captiva were incredibly responsive and helpful all along the way when we had questions or minor issues at the house. All were addressed without a hitch - making our 2 weeks even more enjoyable. Our entire family agreed that we will come back in a heartbeat when the opportunity arises again!

We stayed at Morning Glories on wonderful Captiva Island! Could not have loved this house more! Gorgeous home, arranged in a way that every one in the family was comfortable. The kitchen was like being in my own kitchen at home! Everything had been thought of and was in place. The outside area is gorgeous. Pool and spa were fabulous and seating areas perfect. Lower level has pool table, ping pong, etc. etc. etc. !! If you are traveling with a family this home, which is just steps from the beach, is worth the money!

Wonderful week for the 10 of us on Captiva. As close to perfect as you can get. The beach and weather were great. The house was spacious and very well maintained with an awesome pool and spa. Best equipped kitchen ever experienced in a rental property.

Our annual family vacation of 12 people came to Captiva for the first time. The home was absolutely perfect. The house is perfect for a large group with a layout that was spacious yet still very comfortable and homey. Very short walk to the beach. The grands loved the pool and the house was equipped with plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and carts to get them all to the beach. We will absolutely stay here again.

We had the best time at Morning Glories! the house and location are absolutely amazing! We were only a few minutes walk from the beach and the shops and restaurants. My kids loved that they all got their own room and bathroom. Lisa was awesome to work with and was available to help with anything we needed at the drop of a hat. We had the best time and cant wait to come back.

Everything was great! The house was clean and Comfortable. There were towels and beach chairs.I wish there were more cleaning products, but the managers were great about responding!!!

This was the second time we rented Morning Glories through American Realty. We loved every minute of it. Lisa Wheeler was extremely helpful and wonderful to deal with. She anticipated our needs having a baby along and made sure we had everything we needed, so accommodating!We had a few minor issues and maintenance appeared immediately to take care of everything. The house is beautiful and comfortable inside and out. We loved the pool and the location.There were 10 of us, 3 families, ages 2 -67, everyone had a great time.

Very good fit, overall, for our needs. However, if we would like to see the following: BETTER BUG CONTROL! Had dozens of winged insects in upper back queen bedroom plus a very large spider there. Gnats in bottom apartment (probably related to garbage/ recyc storage). Many Roaches. Way too many spiders/webs in pool cage. INSTALL POOL HAND RAILING. REPAIR (or cover with matt) SLATES WHICH WERE BREAKING INTO DANGEROUS RAZOR-LIKE LAYERS. Vacuum so renters can help keep place cleaner --maybe helping roach problem.

Great house! The layout is a little unusual—upstairs and downstairs entrances aren’t connected—but you can make it work. Everything is up to date, and for a rental, it’s a beautiful home.
I’ve rented from American for over 15 years, and they’ve always taken care of me and my family. I would absolutely recommend this house and others they offer. This is one of their larger homes, and if you have a big family, it’s a great option.
The beach is just a 3-minute walk, and the house is well stocked. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. The pool and multiple decks make the home feel very dynamic and offer great personal space for everyone.
Over the years, we’ve rented both small and large homes from American, and this one is definitely a solid choice. Albert is always responsive and helpful with any issues or questions.
I’d give the home 4.5 stars and American 5 stars!
